Fun Bus Activity
The Fun Bus will be at Kangaroo Kourt Preschool from 10am to 11am. All upstairs children will participate. If your child does not attend on MONDAY you are welcome to bring your child to the bus at 10 am and pick up at 11 am.

Presidents’ Day ~ Kangaroo Kourt Preschool Closed
Did you know that the idea for The Hall of Presidents in Walt Disney World originated with "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln," an audio-animatronics exhibit that Walt Disney featured at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair?

KKAP Update

The after-school students have been awarded a small grant from NJafter3.  The children are asked to participate in a community service program. This year the students have chosen to help the animals at Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter. Every two weeks they will be asking you for a different item to donate.

leashes, collars, animal shampoos

March 15- 30

canned cat and dog food

April 1-13

dry cat and dog food  (please do not bring earlier than this date)

Also, they would like you to send in a photograph of your pets.  You can bring in a photo or email a photo to kangarooct@aol.com.  Pet photos will be displayed on the bulletin board in their classroom.

* * Topics for the Month * *

This month the children will continue learning about short vowels sounds.
We will also be discussing Ground Hog Day, Valentine’s Day, and Presidents’ Day.

* * Fund Raiser Update * *

Thank you to everyone who participated in our GIAVANNI PIZZA fund raiser.
Our profit was $ 179.  We DID NOT have the participation that we should have, especially since our profits go right to the children’s activities.
We are going to use this money for our FUN BUS Activity but we will need to do an
EASTER CANDY Fund Raiser to cover further activities.
